Aromatherapy for Hair Care

Do you have healthy hair? Did you know that your overall health is reflected in your hair? Have you thought about the products you use and how this affects the health of your hair?

You may be stuck in a routine of having the same hair style and using the same hair care products over and over. It may be time for change especially if your hair lacks luster and looks drab and dull.

You might want to consider looking at the labels of the products you use. Consider the ingredients in your shampoo, conditioner, hair gels, hair spray and any other hair processors you use.

If you dye or color your hair, you are adding additional stress to your hair. Many people blow dry, then use a curling iron or heated rollers which can cause permanent damage to the shaft of the hair.

If you believe that your hair is over processed. Then you may want to turn to a natural solution to correct the damage that has been done, or to improve the health of your hair, consider aromatherapy products. The use of these products will improve the overall condition of your hair naturally without harsh ingredients.

When you think of aromatherapy, do you think of a breath of fresh air? That may very well be what your hair needs. Beyond, the aroma, the therapeutic effects help return luster to your hair.

Once you begin using aromatherapy products your hair will have more shine, fullness and body. Aromatherapy products help replenish the nutrients your hair has lost.

There are a variety of Aromatherapy products such as herbal treatments which offer intense conditioning which penetrate into the shaft of your hair and repair any damage. There are a multitude of aromatherapy oils which you can massage into your hair to assist with circulation.

You can find Aromatherapy products at health food stores. Make sure you read the directions, because many of the oils are concentrated and should be used sparingly. If you have questions, check with a store clerk regarding the specifics of usage.

There are a multitude of oils which will help your hair such as olive oil, nut oils and others. You can also purchase a variety of ingredients and make your own. There are oils such as Rosemary, lavender and other floral ingredients which help with circulation and promote a healthy scalp.

Peppermint oil is very refreshing and helps rejuvenate your scalp. A little bit of this oil goes a very long way, so don’t overdo it. It also contains a natural coolant which will give your hair a breath of fresh air. You can also add this ingredient to your conditioner which will make your hair shiny and vibrant.

Nourish your soul and your body with healthy hair products that will give you added shine and fullness so that you are prepared to live a healthy vibrant lifestyle.
